Villa Nueva 1910 in Getxo proved to be a delightful haven during my recent Easter getaway. The location is an absolute gem, just a short walk from the Algorta area and the beautiful Ereaga Beach, making it ideal for both relaxation and exploration. The contemporary decor complemented the tranquil setting, and I appreciated the cleanliness and well-maintained wooden floors—perfect for my city explorer sensibilities. Esteban, the caretaker, was exceptionally welcoming and attentive to our needs, which added a personal touch to our stay. The shared kitchen and fridge came in handy, particularly after long days enjoying the lively town squares filled with festive atmosphere and local nightlife. If you're planning a trip to Bilbao, the easy access to public transport from here makes it a great base. Plus, with the Guggenheim Museum and Euskalduna Conference Centre within a short distance, this spot is perfect for arts and culture enthusiasts like myself. Would I return? Absolutely—especially with friends in tow to enjoy the vibrant evenings together!
